DevOps Engineer – Role Overview A DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between development and operations teams by streamlining the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on implementing and managing DevOps practices, automating workflows, and optimizing processes to improve the efficiency, speed, and reliability of software releases. This role is tagged as urgent due to involvement in a critical GWAM project. Final onboarding expectations from the business unit are to be confirmed. Key Requirements Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading large-scale implementations of DevOps-related technologies. Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure Cloud (IaaS and PaaS). Strong experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Change, and Request Management. Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using Terraform, Python, and PowerShell. Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines and repository management tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Strong ability to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and maintenance. Must-Have Technical Skills Terraform Strong infrastructure-focused experience Ability to develop, configure, and manage Terraform code for infrastructure automation Azure Databricks Experience building, deploying, and maintaining Databricks environments Strong development and configuration skills GitHub Experience managing repositories, pull requests, and CI/CD workflows Azure Cloud Platforms Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS and Azure IaaS services Nice to have - Microsoft Certifications (MCTS, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE), Azure certifications
